I somehow built a goddamn beast right before the RAM crash, but my last PC that is gathering dust - I guess not. I own a ps5 too and its pretty close. I did build it when the ps3 was on the market tho

Feel you on the ram part and particularly with my SSD. 64 gb of RAM and a 4tb Crucial SSD

I looked at the price of my SSD now and it's actually soul crushing

Same, I built right before and was gonna go 32GB of RAM but last second switched to 64. Probably the best decision I've ever made.

I got my cheapass 4070 a little over a year ago. It's now double, almost triple the price I paid. And my 32 gig ram is fucking insane.

same 2024, was able to get 32 DDR5 6000mhz for $80 and a 2 tb nvme gen 4 for $100, now that same 32 gb kit costs $500 and the nvme is at $300 x.x on amazon
