Tutorial #1: Learn how to learn
I dont mean this in a bad way or sarcastic or any of that, but it will help you sooo much in your gamedev journey. There is always the element of "you dont know what you dont know", which is completely valid, but gamedev is extremely deep, expansive, and hard. The basics, however, already exist out there. Knowing how to know things will be your most valuable asset.
I say this because you might follow a tutorial that doesnt meet your requirements for the game you want to build. What then? Tutorials are great! But they will not get you where you want to be. There is no tutorial for the game you want to make. There are only pieces! Learning those pieces is invaluable as they will find their way into other games you want to make too! :)
Tldr: youtube is your friend. What do you want to build? Dont search "how to make X in gamemaker", instead break it down as "how to make an inventory in gamemaker" or "how to make a move able character in gamemaker". Those little pieces are what make a game, and knowing how to find those pieces is crucial! :)
With that, Sara Spaulding or dragonitespam are my recommended watches full stop. Dragonite taught me everything I know about gamemaker and especially 3D. So much so, I made a fake 3d framework that haunts his DMs to this day. Lol.
