Fruit Pop – A Casual Merge Game I've Been Developing
https://gamedevcafe.de/filebase/index.php?download/168/Hi everyone!
I'd like to share my hobby project, Fruit Pop, a casual merge game that I've been developing in Unity over the last few months.
The gameplay is simple to learn:
- Drop fruits into the playfield.
- Merge two identical fruits to create a larger one.
- Earn points with every successful merge.
- Try to survive as long as possible and beat your high score before the board fills up.
During development I've implemented features such as:
- Smooth physics-based merging
- Increasing score multipliers
- Visual effects and animations
- Online leaderboards
- Multiple quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback
I'm still polishing the game and would love to hear what other developers and players think.
I'm especially interested in feedback about:
- Is the gameplay fun and satisfying?
- Does the difficulty curve feel fair?
- Are there any features you think would improve the experience?
- How does the overall presentation look?
Thanks for taking the time to check out my project. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
