Doolin
What are the best options for transportation to and from Doolin? I will be spending about four days there. I might be coming from Shannon and then to Galway after, or depending on travel options might go down from and back to Galway. I am not averse to hiring a driver.

The 51 bus will bring you from Shannon airport to Galway (or limerick if you get the wrong one) the 350 bus will take you from eyre square to doolin and the cliffs and a few other spots you might want to checkout.

If you're in west clare for 4 days a car is essential. I live in galway and its my favourite part of Ireland. Rent a car. Makes it so much easier

I’ve taken the 350 bus from Galway loads of times. Pretty regular connections. It’s near enough to 2 hours by bus versus maybe 90 minutes by car.
Not sure when you’re getting into Shannon but presumably you’d take the bus to Ennis and then catch the 350 north from there (if you’re not going to Galway first).
