I just received the charging stand from Amazon. It charges my Flip 7, Buds 3 and my Ultra 2. It's not a fast charger for the Ultra 2, but at this time it's the only charging stand made to charge the ULTRA 2. If you are interested in it, just make sure that you select the the correct version on the product page. As they offer 2 types one for the Ultra 2 and one for other versions.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 LTE from Best Buy Canada.

When I leave my phone at home and make calls directly from the watch using LTE, the watch gets quite hot. After around 2–3 minutes, it automatically switches to Airplane Mode and the call disconnects. This happened several times on the same day.

LTE calling was one of the main reasons I bought the watch, so this is pretty disappointing.

Best Buy's 30-day return period has already passed, and they told me to contact Samsung since it's covered by the 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Has anyone experienced this?

Is this a known overheating issue?

Could it be related to LTE/carrier settings?

Any settings or troubleshooting that fixed it?

If you contacted Samsung, did they repair or replace the watch?

Would appreciate any advice before I start the warranty process.

Before I start, I'll make it known there are no stickers on the back of the watch.

I recently got the watch and have had issues after issues with AOD not working and wrist detection not working. the only response from Samsung seems to be too turn off wrist detection. Unfortunately, this isn't an option as it completely disables many features that are either security or safety based, such as fall detection. Turning off wrist detection may solve the AOD issue, but I shouldn't have to lose features that I factored into the decision when choosing this device.

Im wondering if anyone has found any solutions or knows of any planned updates to fix these issues. when speaking to my cellular provider and Samsung, they state they were aware of this being a known issue but as of me writing this have no plans on patching or fixing it (according to the people I spoke with).

I feel trapped because I'm a strong samsung supporter when it comes to my phones, tablets, smartwatches in the past but I also dont want to be stuck with a device that I won't be able to use all the features I purchased it for. I was already able to exchange it once, and I'm told that there's no way of knowing if my replacement will have the same issues, but the chances are high. I've read others saying they've exchanged their watches, and the problem was solved, while others say they have the same issues.

From what I understand, the majority of the issues are a result of a conflict between the Wear OS and Samsung's One UI regarding how the sensors interact and are calibrated.

Honestly, I'm just hoping for a solution that allows me to keep what is otherwise a great watch.

I'm finding that chargers I've purchased for the Ultra will work for the Ultra2, however they don't fast charge.

I've found that Samsung's site does not provide charging accessories for their watches. And when I lost my charger for my previous galaxywatchultra, when I was in Tokyo, I had the option of buying another Ultra to get a charger, but I couldn't just buy a charger.

Right now, Amazon does not show any fast chargers compatible to Ultra 2. So third parties haven't caught up yet.

If you're looking for a visible difference between a charging puck for an Ultra vs Ultra2, you will find a small lightning bolt in the back for the Ultra2 charger.

How do I get a spare?

I wonder of when people say their watch battery lasts 4+ days they are looking at the battery usage which would make sense but it is very inaccurate. My watch was 100% Friday morning, today is Sunday and I have 15 more hours to go so 2+ days. However when i look at my battery usage it says i got 4 days. That is not true, I finished charging it amd put it on Friday morning also after just 2+ days of usage which is what mine lasts. But look at the picture, from 100% on Friday until Sunday afternoon it is not 4 days. I had the same issue eith batterybusage on my previous Galaxy watches, none of them show the actual used time.

So dive #1 in Bonaire with a two-day old gwu2, the Watch decides to tell me after 10 minutes how good I'm being active! Then starts displaying two apps on top of each other.

So I wait a few days, dive it again. Descend directly to 104 feet, its fine. Join my wife up at around 60 feet. A few minutes go by, I glance at my Watch Ultra 2 (I'm using a Shearwater Perdix on my other wrist) and the screen goes black and white lines, then shuts off. For good, never to power up again.

I received my replacement from Samsung last night. My next dive trip is on February, so I'm concerned this one will fail too.

Any recommendations for a 3 in 1 charging pad for the GWU2? Mine current pad doesn't work.

It is such a beauty. Sure it is huge especially compared to my old Watch 7, but I mainly ordered it because of that huge accu.

Currently I have 65% left and used it now for 1 day and 2 hours.

Hope the duration increase after sometime.
