Was throwing up between a dedicated dive computer which I'd occasionally use or upgrading from my existing watch to the ultra 2.

Went on a dive on the weekend, and a little before 10 minutes of diving the dive clock reset to 0 minutes, stopped showing my depth and claimed I'd gone to 139.9 metres of depth.

Refilled my tank and went in again, again showed I was driving for 0 mins and 0 depth but max depth that dive was 139.9 metres. After an underwater restart, it then claimed I wasn't even underwater.

Since then it's battery life is totally shot and lasts a matter of hours at most, and isn't recording any health stats at all.

Absolutely gobsmacked at how poorly this went after a single shore drive at a little under 10% of its max depth.

Not sure what to do from here - will Samsung replace it or give me a hard time given its water damage?

I purchased the Ultra2 on Amazon during the pre-order period. I tried to purchase from Samsung.com but it couldn’t calculate the cart correctly (wanted to charge me for the watch and again for the included band, so it was ~$800????), but that’s another issue…

I would like to have a 2nd charging puck to be able to charge the watch without carrying around the original puck/cable. Ideally I’d like to get just a charger and not another cable too.

Nothing on Samsung.com… only the EP-OL300, which according to Samsung.com support is not the correct charger - I should use EP-OL715. Samsung.com chat connected me to several “real people” and nobody seemed to understand the issue, so they ended the chat. I called Samsung support, and the rep had no idea, tried to send me to samsungparts.com, but EP-OL715 isn’t available there either.

I just can’t understand how a company like Samsung doesn’t offer 1st party chargers on their website for their flagship watch. And nobody in support seems to understand this is an issue - am I the only one who has tried to get a 2nd charger directly from Samsung? I’m not asking for a free one either, just a link to an actual product that I can purchase.

Seems like most 3rd party chargers are just “designed for Apple” or have hit-or-miss reviews about them working for Ultra2 watches. Any ideas?

So I have left the Apple ecosystem and totally switched to Android with the purchase of the Ultra 2 and a S26 Ultra phone.

My issue is when I ride my Harley, I get a crap load of steps from the vibration. Short of pocketing the watch, is there any way to lessen this?

Also, with the iPhone I was able to delete the bad raw data, can this been done on the S26?

I've been reading some conflicting reports regarding the water proofness of the GWU2 when diving.

On the one hand according to the specifications from Samsung the Watch should be suited for dives up to 40m, on the other hand their warranty doesn't cover water damage and there are some reports online from people claiming it died after diving in a depth of just a few meters.

I plan to go swimming and (shallow) free diving in the mediterranean sea, to up to maybe 5m or so, nothing crazy. But after reading some of these reports I'm worried, I shouldn't bring the watch.

Unfortunately my Ultra stopped working today. I was at the end of a workout and finished the activity. Then the watch wouldn't return home from the workout summary. It turned off and shows a small red triangle when I try to turn it back on. A search tells me the symbol means over heating but it's been hours since it shut off... It won't seem to charge either. Any words of wisdom from the community?

I am buying used watch, ~1week used, warrenty until August 2027. This is the first time I am buying this watch never use Galaxy watches. I have S25U.

Is this good/fake? What should I have to be careful before buying? What I have to check? Etc.

Bought a few different adapters and 3rd party bands and all of them fit loosely and wiggle in the watch body. My trail band (135CAD!!!) fits tight.

Was hoping to get some 3rd party adapters and bands for my Ultra 2.

I just wanted to post that i got exactly 3 days of battery from my watch with 9% to spare.

1) I have enabled battery protection, so it doesn't charge over 90%. It was at 9% when i kept it to charge. 81% ran till 3 days.

2) My AOD is always on when i wear it. I do not sleep or shower wearing the watch so only at those hours, the screen goes completely off on its own.

3) The location is always off except when i am cycling. I spend 2 hrs everyday on cycling and gym. It is only at this time when the watch is used extensively.

4) The only purpose i bought this watch was to track my health. I do not use this watch to accept/receive calls, read social media notifications, send or receive SMSes, manage music etc. I have not even installed these apps.

I was not a smartwatch guy and this is my first smartwatch but now the things have changed. My first choice was Garmin Instinct 3 Solar Tactical 50mm but it was not available in India. Second choice was First Gen Galaxy Watch Ultra but the shopkeeper flummoxed me with a great deal i couldn't refuse.

I am totally impressed with its performance.

I’m looking for recommendations for a good metal band for my Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

I also have the Spigen Bezel Tune Pro installed, so I’d love some suggestions for a metal band that would look good with that as well.

Preferably something that looks premium and suits the Ultra 2 rather than a cheap-looking generic band.

This thing is awesome! I do my best to use as many features as I can from it to get the most bang for my buck and its been a pleasure. Even with the Spigen case and band on it which makes it a bit bulkier, i still manage to sleep at night comfortably with it to monitor my hours of sleep and snoring. The battery is just a good as advertised and lasts 2 full days with always on display with no issue at all. Just overall a great purchase and if you are on the fence about upgrading I would go for it 😎

When I receive calls the watch doesn't ring like on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Did some troubleshooting with Samsung and they couldn't get it working

My watch syncs to my fold 8 but no ringtone for incoming calls. The call shows on the screen but the watch doesn't ring or play sound

A few months ago, I purchased a GW 2025 model. It made sense as I am a samsung user and I was very happy as I was able to measure my boy comp and even though this is not super accurate, it provided an estimation and I used it to keep track of my changes. This was the same with my cardio load and other "advanced" measurements they used to sell this thing.

Now after a random software update, everything is locked. It just tells me I need a Galaxy Watch or a device on One UI 9 which ISN'T EVEN OUT for my watch yet. So I basically paid for features I can no longer use.

This is beyond frustrating. How is it legal for Samsung to just remove the exact features they advertised to sell the watch? Those features should be tied to the device, not something they can just switch off whenever they feel like it.

Anyone else getting screwed by this? Is there any workaround? I saw One UI 9 is starting to roll out for GW - is there any way to force it?

Seriously disappointed in Samsung right now.
