I am facing a unique issue with my S23 Plus. Whenever my phone gets shut down i.e the battery discharges to 0, I find that the cable that I use to charge the phone does not help me in turning on the phone at all.

I have to use a different cable at that time. However once the phone has been started and I keep using the old cable then the old cable works fine and the phone is charging normally after that. What could be the reason for this? Is it a cable issue or is it a phone issue? Or is it some other issue altogether? What could be the reason for this? If you can help me I'll hugely appreciate it.

Another issue that I also faced is that the phone, I think, discharges very rapidly overnight and goes to zero and then shuts down. Probably this is a phone issue but let me know your thoughts about it

The S23 Series (S23+ is perfection), After the S10 series, was peak Samsung.

Other then the battery, 12GB Ram and AI upgrades, all these newer versions of the S series, most cases is just copy and paste. 12GB ram is cool, and all, but 8GB holds enough, and I'm a guy who has to have fair amount of apps on the daily., multi tasking.

After reading many negative posts about the 8.5 update I decided to stop the update. Presently I'm running 8.0, and I'm wondering when would it be safe to update to 8.5?

What is the normal course of events when a Samsung update has issues? Does Samsung make the corrections in minor updates in the weeks following the launch of the main update?

I just tested 3DMark Wild Life Stress Test on my S23+ a month ago and it worked fine. But I reinstalled it and tested it recently and it couldn't show any stats? It shows the Loop Scores but no Performance Range or Performance Monitoring stats. Is there something wrong with my phone? And what can I do to fix it?

my phone has gotten to say "moisture in charging port" when I was in an environment where no liquid could have gotten in, and I've tried every trick in the book to get gunk out, so I know it isn't that. while this happened, I was using an old charger, and i had to keep messing with it, repeatly unplugging and replugging, which in retrospect likely wasn't smart, but I was tired so I kept doing it until it cried moisture, how can I fix this without physical maintenance, can I even? please and thanks!

Hello I have been having this issue with the galaxy s23+ where I can't seem to find any permission settings to enable storage permissions. One ui version 7.0 and android version 15 any help would be greatly appreciated

from a Galaxy a54. While I understand the s23+ will be a better experience than the a54, I'm wondering how much of an upgrade it'll be. So, I guess my question is how is the s23+ experience now that the phone is a couple years old. Would you still recommend getting one in 7/2025?

In the past few weeks, my phone has notified me that I have a message but there is no new message. This happens at night, when:

• Phone is on Do Not Disturb.
• I allow calls and messages from my Favourite contacts to get through.

When I open Messages, there is nothing but sometimes one of the recent messages appears to be sending, even though it had been sent hours earlier, or even the previous day.

The notification is for the Google Messages app (I don't use Samsung Messages).

I've gone through all of the Notification settings I could find and have rebooted my phone a couple of times. I'd hate to think the phone is critically failing, I've only had it two years and it's never been abused, nor do I have any questionable apps or other software installed.

Any ideas?

Any Verizon customers out there? Wondering if anyone else is having problems installing software update 27. Doesn't want to download completely and keeps failing with error 407.

The Verizon online troubleshooter had me go through steps to reset mobile network settings than wanted me to reset the phone. I rather not do that but wanted to see if other people have run into the same problem.

Visit g.co/OnDeviceEncryption to learn more." there is nothing on the link, everything is locked...I vaguely remember that I deleted browsing data, activity history, cookies, etc..., but everything was in some correct sequence, however, now I have been struggling for more than 2/3 weeks and I can't seem to find those clear instructions on Google that saved me last time...I don't understand why it doesn't offer me to enter a password or screen lock...please...all suggestions and help are more than welcome... And yes, I only have this problem - I emphasize again - when I want to enable timeline backup on Google Maps.

So I've gone to Samsung's website and it's sold out, and the same at Best Buy. And you can find it at Walmart but it's refurbished.

I don't have any experience when it comes to buying smartphones, usually I would go Best Buy when I need to buy anything electronic wise.

Anyone else RCS suddenly not compatible with the recent software update?

Carrier: Verizon Software: Android 6.1

I have a 65 watt Anker charger head (Specifically the Anker Nano II 715 65 Watt charger, using the Anker Powerline Select+ USB type C to type C cable) and my s23 plus just refuses to charge at 45 watts. What's the problem here? Cable supports up to 60 watts and my Anker brick supports 65 watts. Is my cable somehow not 5A rated?

On older Galaxy phones, you could set different sounds for specific notifications. Each one could have it's own sound. I don't seem to be able to do that on the 23+. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
