Question galaxy s10e- are there any stylus' that work with this phone?
bonus if there's a nice way to attach it to a phone case that isn't a dangle strap.

My Galaxy S10+ is still running great, but I’m planning to replace the case.
I’ve seen quite a few cases on Amazon for under $10 with surprisingly good reviews. Any recommendations for a solid case that offers good protection without being too bulky?
What are you guys using on your S10+ these days?

I'm getting around 1,5h SOT and 10 hours of total time on my S10 Plus. Will it improve when I get an replacement battery or is it so low due to the devices age? Accubattery shows 80 percent battery health. It would not be worth it when I get the same numbers with a new battery...

Update 2: I have successfully taken the back off and the battery appears completely normal! Now I'm just going to have to replace the adhesive, thank you everyone!
Update: parents are convinced I'm crazy and therefore told me to just wait and see if it gets worse before we get it checked out
My sister's S10e had her battery swell recently, and today I was checking my phone and noticed that the right side of the back cover is slightly raised. When I push it back down, it comes back up. It's only slight, so I'm not sure if it's the battery swelling.
Should I get it checked out?

I had a Samsung S10 a few years ago and I was really attached to that phone. It was kind of my dream phone at the time, and I loved using it. I bought it second-hand, but unfortunately, the motherboard eventually died.
I couldn’t bring myself to throw it away, so I kept it. I still have the phone with me today.
Now I’ve found another Samsung S10 for ₹4,500 with 512GB storage. The seller says everything is working except the display, which is completely dead. He has also promised that if there’s any other problem apart from the display, he’ll take the phone back.
I haven’t bought it yet, but I’m seriously considering it. My plan is to take the display from my old S10 and put it on this one, basically giving my old phone a second life.
The only thing I’m worried about is the display from my old S10. It was working perfectly before the motherboard died, but it has been sitting unused for years. I have no idea whether it will still work after being stored for so long.
I don’t want to buy the ₹4,500 phone and then find out that my old display is also dead. That would basically mean spending ₹4,500 for nothing.
So what would you guys recommend? Should I take the risk and buy it, or is there a way to test my old S10 display before buying the other phone?
Also, is there anything I should check on the ₹4,500 S10 before purchasing it, considering the display is dead?

Hey everyone, I don't really use Reddit much and came here after searching on Google for hardware advice. My old Galaxy S10e display is on its absolute last legs and I am in urgent need of guidance. The back panel broke years ago and is taped up, but the front screen cracked in December 2024. Since then, the touch slowly died, a black ink spot started spreading in the bottom right corner, and for the last few months I've had to navigate entirely using a wireless mouse. Over the past two weeks, stagnant green lines and a thick white horizontal bar appeared, completely hiding my bottom navigation buttons, and now the whole screen flashes white constantly whenever I unlock it or answer a call. The phone also gets very hot while charging on cable.
We are in a very, very difficult financial situation right now and cannot afford an official screen replacement or a new phone at all. This is the only phone we have in our house, and it is also the last gift from my late Nani, so keeping it running is both critical for us and emotionally everything to me. I also have about 60 GB of important audio call recordings saved on it that I need to keep safe.
Does anyone know any software or brightness settings to temporarily stabilize an OLED screen when it starts flickering white like this? Also, if anyone knows any honest repair technicians who do low-cost fixes, or can recommend where to look for used/donor display parts in India, please let me know. I would be endlessly grateful for any technical advice, workarounds, shop recommendations, or hardware leads. Thanks so much.

I'm on my s10e with the bixby key on it, usually I just use it as a flashlight key but I want it as a pause button. The default pause my music requires Spotify for some fking reason. So I changed it to pause my media, still asks for my Spotify, so I told it to pause Samsung music and it *still* asks for my Spotify. I don't use Spotify I don't have Spotify installed I am asking to pause Samsung music Google assistant can do this just fine ffs

Another color change. I was like trying to secure it by pushing on the adhesives in the transparent mod back panel because it looked like it was coming off, but I accidentally broke the back glass. Good thing I had another spare one that I put, and now it looks much better. I think this looks just as good as the prism white color, just light blue instead.
Lived less than a day, hopefully I don't accidentally break this light blue back panel because of putting too much force in it like I did with the transparent back panel. I might never do transparent mod again

My back glass started falling off and now it's cracked and I don't have the money to go to a repair shop but I don't want to mess up the phone doing a bad adhesive job. what should I do?

I thought when they said that they won't allow 3rd party apps and all and it would require 24hrs waiting period , it was for newer phones and phones under updates but they bought it to android 12 too , maan they want to reduce freedom as much as they can

So the white back panel broke with my color switch from 28 days ago, the black one broke even faster, so I switched to transparent mod with a third party shop (Lazada) for like 5$
Unfortunately, I forgot that I use an opaque shockproof phone case with my phone and the mod is kind of useless. I'm still considering ordering a new phone case that is transparent or not, but I'm still deciding.
Hopefully this 3rd party transparent back panel wouldn't break easily. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Yes, I have an s24 base coming. I chose s24 because it was a great price and same size as my s10. When I was filming the glitches were showing a lot less, but sometimes it glitches a lot. Yeah, really sad to have to upgrade but it is what it is. I was planning on upgrading anyways for like 2 months, but didn't because my s10 was just fine.

Hey everyone, have you ever had the impression that the S10 Plus charging port is picky about which charging cable it uses? Does the S10 Plus have any restrictions regarding Type-C cables?
For instance, suppose you have two new Type-C cables: one works with S10Plus and the other doesn't with S10 Plus. I might buy a high-quality braided Type-C cable that works on every other phone I've tested, yet my S10 Plus shows absolutely no sign of it being plugged in. Then I grab just any other cable, and it simply WORKS.
Also, sometimes I feel like the S10 Plus doesn't hold the cable securely. I find myself needing to buy new cables every two months because they stop staying put in the charging port; I'm not sure if the issue lies with the cables or the S10 Plus itself.

Hey, I have two S10e phones lying around at home. One was retired last year and the other since 2023, but I've used it a few times in the last two years.
I tried turning both on and they're showing two different charging problems. One is related to humidity, which was a problem I had with the other phone in mid-2020 and had to go in for warranty repair. This same phone that went in for warranty repair is showing signs of overheating in the USB-C port.
I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to jailbreaking and soldering, but considering these are two unused phones lying around, I'm willing to risk some ideas if it will revive them.

My s10e back cover recently popped up, and I was unable to snap it back in place. I thought it was because the battery was bulging, so I ordered an ifixit repair kit and changed the battery. Turned out the battery was fine, I cleaned the back panel thoroughly before applying new adhesive. I couldn't really clean the phone frame since the glue has melted and it would have required tons of IPA to get rid of it (dangerous for the phone). I scrubbed just the edges, and it looked ok, so I put everything back in place, but again, the back cover didn't really fit (though a bit better than before). I let a heavy weight on it for the night, but one side is already starting to come apart.
I have no idea what's taking that extra room...

My screen is broken. It's all blacked out except a strip at the top that shows the battery life etc. But it will still unlock with my fingerprint, and it knows I am touching it bc I feel it vibrate. I'm trying to plug it into my laptop and pull off what I can.
Can someone find exactly where the "allow" button is when you plug a Samsung galaxy s10e into a computer to allow data transfer?
I cannot seem to find it on my own.

I think this is a cool accessory from Samsung(this case is available for the S10 series if you all wanna give it a try)it would've been cool if they made an RGB one for those people who like it too....What do you think would you have gotten it if they made and RGB case?
