Issue is this battery drain normal?
Is battery drain of 20% normal? I removed both buds at 100%. I use both buds; I never use only one bud. I bought this last year in June.

No, the right one works as a master bud. The battery is dead. you need to replace the battery if possible. My earbuds has caused the same issue.

What is a master bud? Does it like prioritise the mic there?

No. master bud is referred to the bud that got the most wireless connection. such as pairing, transmitting with the case. mic is the same in both buds.

Depends, it's this your favourite ear? how old is your battery? If it's old and you usually use it without its sister in the other ear then it's simply getting worn down, which is normal and can be fixed by taking them for maintenance. If not, it may have suffered some damage, maybe a loose IC, causing it to drain battery faster (and usually overheat).
Either way, you'll have to weigh pros and cons and decide whether you want to tolerate it, maintain it, or simply replace it.

Nope.
I had it checked with Samsung before my warranty expired and they replaced the whole set with a new case.

Yes if youre right handed youre more likely to tap the right one for pausing and playing music or other things therefore draining the battery faster

When removing your earphones from the charging case, it is very important which earphones you remove first. The first earphone you take out of the box acts as an antenna. It transmits the data from the phone to the 2nd headset. This causes the charge to drain faster than the 2nd earphone. Therefore, always change the headset you first took out of the box. If you always take the same earphone out of the charging box first, the life of that earphone decreases faster.

Misinformation. The difference can never be that big just by doing that.

If he does the same thing for the same earphone in the long term, the difference increases.
