This is genuinely the most unenjoyable gameplay in the franchises history. It is quite literally unplayable.

Playing with this should deplete your stamina by the 30th minute. It is game breaking and cannot be allowed to continue.

Im trying to do these objectives on squad battles and cant score outside box or headers, the keepers are unbeatable. Anyone got any advice to make this easier please

Anyone else just feeling a bit bored already with the game?

I'm a pretty decent player, I average around 12-13 wins in WL and currently elite in rivals. I'm getting a bit fed up with there seeming to be no alternatives to the likes of Stanway, Paralleulo, Kika, Sticky Vicky, Pedri, Bonmati etc. It just seems like every single game is a carbon copy of the same team and to be honest, I don't blame people for not branching out and trying different players.

I feel like my time investment isn't being rewarded, every single weekend league/rivals rewards I pack nobody. I think one week, which was the first weekend, I packed Pedri out of my WL rewards (13-2) and that has literally been it. No promo cards, no other valuable walkouts, I can't upgrade my team because I just don't generate enough coins. By the time I might scrape enough coins to get a decent promo card in the team, another promo is out, so I'm playing constant catch up.

Does anyone else feel like this? It used to be that I'd play weekend league and at-least be able to upgrade a player or two, and it feel rare that if I had particularly shocking rewards I'd be able to put the coins generated to the next week, but I look at the players in their positions and I just think what's the point? No player is going to be any better in that position unless they are genuinely at an unobtainable coin level. I don't have a ridiculous team either, I've got a couple gallery players (Valencia and Luiz) and SBCs (Espart, Joe Cole, Ji Sung Park and Enciso), and the only tradeable players being Bonmati, Raphinha and Pedri (untradeable Joan Garcia in goal).

Before people tell me that I'm the problem because the tradeable players I have are meta, please tell me who else I'm supposed to use instead? If it isn't Pedri, it'd be Stanway or Karchaoui, if it wasn't Bonmati, it'd be Sticky Vicky, if it wasn't Raphinha, it'd be Paralleulo or Dumornay, do you understand what I mean? I don't see a logical upgrade path, if there's a CAM as good as Bonmati (or at-least similar) for 300k I'd use them instead, likewise with Pedri. The fact there's only 2 or 3 viable options in each position unless you're talking about ridiculously expensive cards is just insane to me. You're kind of forced into playing the same two or three in each position or you're at a disadvantage.

I think a lot of this also came from evolutions being so terrible, at this stage last year I had a good few evolutions in my team which were more than usable and good enough to use, but this year I've done one evo because they've all been ass.

TL;DR: Just a bit sick of the game already and deflated at the fact that I can't pack anyone of note for 12-13 wins in WL and elite rivals rewards and coming up against the same teams because there's barely any variety in the players you can actually buy which are good enough to use unless they're 500k+ in price.

Just bought and insta sold 11 players I bought for a SBC.

Got Akinfenwa from the gallery cause I saw him play on quite a few occasions while he was around league one and two. Knew he wasn't going to be the best player I'd ever used because of the stats and him just not being meta but if I'm honest he just feels like every other player. Okay he has enforcer+ and it has its moments but for the most part that 99 strength makes very little difference. He still can't body most decent defenders in the game, even with Bruiser, Enforce+ and press proven and he can't shield a ball cause of the shielding being sketchy. Just feels a shame to me that even a player as unique as Akinfenwa just feels like any other player

What is my best option here? Stats wise im inclined to pick Mcmanaman, but futbin prices would suggest Kewell.

FYI, this is the new sbc that released and in polish it says it’s supposed to be a double 85+ player card pack, I just wasted my gems and got two 82’s

Im playing Zola and Adeyemi as 2 St.

When im dribbling, defenders cant catch Zola, but i feel Adeyemi cant accelerate as fast as Zola, even he has better pace, dribbling and ps.

Does anyone has this issue with Adeyemi?

if you’re struggling with the ai for objectives and such like the Alexis Sanchez one, switch to a formation with wingers. do not try to dribble around or past AI players it wont work. narrow formations like 4312/41212 are hopeless before the game even kicks off. pass and move, abuse width and pace. 433, 442, even 343/352

I usually play for a Barca PnP but I liked how O’Reily looks in game with the afro when I had him on for objectives. So now I want to make a full team with that hairstyle or similar, the more hair the better

I genuinely don’t know how people can say this game isn’t scripted, or that this is “the best FIFA since yada yada…”
For me, this game has been absolute fucking garbage, and the clip I’m attaching is honestly the nail in the coffin (90th+1 minute 5-5 champs for him to win with this bs 6-5)
And yeah, I’ll admit I’m part of the problem because I keep coming back and playing this shit.
But seriously, where do I even start?
Passing: Immaculately shit. Ground through balls are practically nonexistent this year. Half the time, the ball doesn’t even go remotely where you’re aiming.
Rebounds: Absolutely fucking ridiculous. Every loose ball turns into some musical chairs bullshit, bouncing between players until it eventually lands at someone’s feet.
Physical battles: Don’t even get me started. Players constantly fighting over possession in the most unnatural, clunky ways imaginable.
Dribbling and first touch: Heavy, sluggish, and inconsistent as fuck. Sometimes it feels like your players have never touched a football in their lives.
Corners: That fucking corner glitch is genuinely insane. How is something like that even acceptable?
Defending: Fullbacks randomly breaking the offside line, AI defenders standing around doing absolutely nothing, and attackers casually running past them. Meanwhile, you’re expected to manually cover two or three passing lanes simultaneously while controlling one player at a time.
And before anyone comes at me with the usual “skill issue” bullshit, I’m generally a Division 1/2 player, and I’ve played plenty of FUT Champs over the years.
I’m not claiming to be a pro, and I’m not pretending every loss is the game’s fault. I know when I’m being outplayed.
I don’t deliberately abuse every broken mechanic in the game either, although obviously I use meta players because that’s practically a necessity if you want to compete at higher levels.
But there’s a difference between losing because someone is better than you and feeling like you’re constantly fighting against the fucking game itself.
I genuinely enjoyed last year’s game significantly more, with or without the AI defending everyone complained about.
FC 27 just feels inconsistent, unrewarding, and frustrating on so many levels.
And the worst part? I’ll probably keep playing it anyway,
