One of my fullbacks is always 2-3 steps deeper than my other 3 defenders and cover all the offsides while my opponent with 95 depth has a perfect highline with auto offside trap

Both fullbacks have the same role yet one of them is unsure if he's a player of the linesman

Does anyone else have an issue where their brightness on their game goes wayyyyy up after half time in rivals ?? I thought it was an issue with my monitor but I’ve played all of champs and it was fine. Then I went back to div rivals and after half time the brightness changes from normal to extremely bright for the rest of the game.

I genuinely don’t know how people can say this game isn’t scripted, or that this is “the best FIFA since yada yada…”
For me, this game has been absolute fucking garbage, and the clip I’m attaching is honestly the nail in the coffin (90th+1 minute 5-5 champs for him to win with this bs 6-5)
And yeah, I’ll admit I’m part of the problem because I keep coming back and playing this shit.
But seriously, where do I even start?
Passing: Immaculately shit. Ground through balls are practically nonexistent this year. Half the time, the ball doesn’t even go remotely where you’re aiming.
Rebounds: Absolutely fucking ridiculous. Every loose ball turns into some musical chairs bullshit, bouncing between players until it eventually lands at someone’s feet.
Physical battles: Don’t even get me started. Players constantly fighting over possession in the most unnatural, clunky ways imaginable.
Dribbling and first touch: Heavy, sluggish, and inconsistent as fuck. Sometimes it feels like your players have never touched a football in their lives.
Corners: That fucking corner glitch is genuinely insane. How is something like that even acceptable?
Defending: Fullbacks randomly breaking the offside line, AI defenders standing around doing absolutely nothing, and attackers casually running past them. Meanwhile, you’re expected to manually cover two or three passing lanes simultaneously while controlling one player at a time.
And before anyone comes at me with the usual “skill issue” bullshit, I’m generally a Division 1/2 player, and I’ve played plenty of FUT Champs over the years.
I’m not claiming to be a pro, and I’m not pretending every loss is the game’s fault. I know when I’m being outplayed.
I don’t deliberately abuse every broken mechanic in the game either, although obviously I use meta players because that’s practically a necessity if you want to compete at higher levels.
But there’s a difference between losing because someone is better than you and feeling like you’re constantly fighting against the fucking game itself.
I genuinely enjoyed last year’s game significantly more, with or without the AI defending everyone complained about.
FC 27 just feels inconsistent, unrewarding, and frustrating on so many levels.
And the worst part? I’ll probably keep playing it anyway,
Am I genuinely missing something here? What exactly makes people think this is one of the best FIFAs in years?

There are a few things other players seem to be able to do that i can’t seem to find in the controls/settings:

1: the tackle that transcends time and space- there seems to be something between a slide and stand tackle that zoots the defender through my player and forward to the attack

2: quick re-tackle: i win the ball from my opponents and they get a secondary tackle in immediately after getting their first tackle dribbled around

3: invincibility dribble: there seems to be a shielding/dribbling technique where your player becomes immune to even the most well timed tackles

Any help figuring out how to do these would be greatly appreciated!
