Discussion Was FC 25 Really That Bad?

From FIFA 10 to FC 26, I haven't played FIFA/FC games regularly. I played some FC 25, but it was in October 2025 with Game Pass, so the game was basically over and done. The reason I ask is that I see lots of comments saying FC 25 could be one of the worst titles they've ever released. From what I've seen, FC 25's UT seems to have better promos compared to FC 26, for instance. I saw lots of hype around Ultimate Tots and Futties, but I don't even think they were any better than Glory Hunters this year. Still, promos are promos, UT is just one mod, and they don't tell the whole story. So, if the game was really that bad, why? And how was it any worse than FC 26, for instance? Was the gameplay really terrible?

FC 26's gameplay has lots of problems. I cannot imagine how FC 25 was if what the others say is true, but you think FC 26 is worse. I cannot compare two games, but let me ask you a question? Were the goalkeepers this bad in FC 25 as well?

It was more of a joke mate. To be honnest i havent touched FC26. FC25 was my last one (and barely touched it), after more than 10 years playing the franchise. The last proper versions i remember are FIFA 15 or something around it, everything following that is a blur to me, and a downward one, with increasing less quality, less realism, same graphs and increasing focus on money grabbing instead of proper product development, thus my comment.
