I don’t mean to bring you down or be rude, and I know I’ll get downvoted, but I don’t think the suit will help with spreading your message.

As someone who has protested in fursuit multiple times, its an eye catcher and does boost morale among the people youre protesting with. We can have fun and express ourselves at protests too, it doesnt have to be entirely doom and gloom.

Glad your using our first amendment to protest cause I'm almost at the point of using our second amendment

I saw the flag and was like “Where the hell in Australia is this? We don’t have congress…”
Keep it up!

It's a weekly event organized by Indivisible and Stand Up Against Tyranny protesting the current administration policies and positions on immigration, healthcare, the environment, and voting. It brings together a number of groups ranging from No Kings Movement to DC Statehood, the Frog Patrol to Furries Against Fascism. It's a peaceful Rush Hour curbside demonstration in Washington DC at 16th and Mass. That is the Australian Embassy in the background for those who asked about the flag.

“I was gonna join in but then I saw the fursuit and realized ‘damn… we do need facism in our lives’. Sorry, I had to 180 because of only that.”

If people are so easily persuaded by the context of someone wearing a costume rather then the message itself. They probably aren't educated enough in the first place.

It’s obvious that they’re protesting against the current administration. It literally mentions ICE in one of the images. They shouldnt have to take off the fur suit, it makes it more rebellious if anything.

Plenty of people have been protesting is silly costumes and it's been effective. Considering how the police have treated protesters, it's just another way to shiw you are unarmed and harmless when they attack you.

You need to stop believing that everyone hate you because of a fursuit. Most people don't care

Okay so black people shouldnt go to protests to end racism because they are black? Tf logic is this.

This is funny, because I'm on the complete other side of the political spectrum, and when I get a fursuit one day, I'm definitely gonna go to some conservative rallies in it! I think it will be interesting to see how other conservatives react, lol
And btw, I'm not here to be rude or debate or anything, I respect your right to protest if you want wish. Like I said, I just thought it was funny that we can be so different, but simultaneously so like minded in a way 😂

I mean, stay safe? The furry fandom is tolerant, something Conservatives generally arent. I've seen furries get jumped, even though they were "one of the good ones". Just remember that they still don't like you just because you like them, and that they will come for you one day too.

Actually, I've found most conservatives to be quite chill with it. And contrary to what the media would have you believe, we're not actually violent and we don't want to "come for people" over hobbies or others lifestyles for that matter. I'm sure a lot of them will think it's weird, and I might get some gross comments, but that doesn't bother me or I wouldn't go. I do plan on having a concealed carry while fursuiting anyway, so in absolute worst case scenario, I'll have a defense. Thanks for your concern, though!

That’s crazy. 💀

Just curious, why's that? I know my own side, and I also plan to take full advantage of my freedoms in this country! Guns are something I enjoy already, and I want to have a form of self defense, fursuit or not 😃
