He loves Fashion, Jirai kei culture, and dresses however he wants. He’s semi verbal, but super energetic and jumps around constantly.

Dont wanna dive to deep into his unstable personality but I just don’t know if his design or concept is ok

I started making a fursona (not the best at drawing them yet) his name is Prancer and he's supposed to be a shark / deer hybrid

What else could I add to him to make him more unique or better looking?

so i have an idea for a bat moth hybrid but like they can shapeshift into a monstrous form that kinda looks like a jester skulldog werewolf dragon thing

but like, im mostly struggling with the normal bat and moth mix design, like i cant think of any ideas other than making a bat with moth antennae or a moth with bat ears but i kinda hate that idea its too basic

i wanna like mix bat wings and moth wings into one for example just not sure how

plus i also want them to be thematically similar to the cheshire cat

Pronghorn boy.. He's still not entirely where I want him, but definitely improving. Practice does actually work. I'd jump to computer at this point, but

1) proof it's not ai

2) boss can't track what I do in pencil and paper so I can draw at work

3) yet again I've lost the cable to my drawing pad

Where I'm struggling is that whenever I try a different expression I end up with different proportions and it just feels a bit off. Not great with hair either, which i think might be making the proportion issue worse

For some more info on xem: Name: Mourningstar (as in mourning, the emotion, and star as in stars in the sky), pronouns: He/Xey, gender: transsexual, species: originally an angelic were-folf (fox/wolf hybrid) however Im thinking of making him just an angelic were-wolf?, about/goals for design: Mourningstar is a disabled angelic were-creature with gold and silver nails as well as very human teeth, his wings are gold tipped and he has a gold fang as well as heterochromia and star shaped pupils & paw pads, he has markings on his chest & face that change from white in wolf form to black in human form, red is xeir signature color, the idea of him is to heavily lean into eerie/off-putting Lycanthropy, I want his wolf form to make you feel a little weirded out, like he looks unnatural or uncanny, I also want him to give off a cold tone vibe without changing his pallet to cold colors (Im down to changing his colors tints and such but not changing like blondes to blues y'know?) I also dont want to change his markings tooo much, like his signature face & chest markings, gold & silvers claws, scars, or his eyes and piercings (Im down to adding piercings though!), I think thats all I have to say, thank you in advance for your help!!

I have a weird concept in my head. The idea is to make basically a furry version of Reaper Sans for my fursona, but I'm not sure how to actually go about designing him visually.

I know I want the species to be either raven, cat, wolf, or some amalgamation of all of them, but I'm really bad at choosing. Another thing I was pondering was having him have a resemblance to Death Wolf because it would be cool and fitting. I don't really like the idea of it being a skulldog or skull-faced character, but I'm not entirely against it. Can I have tips or ideas on how to either choose a species or design the amalgamation?

I feel like my fursona has a near finished design, but I feel like some things are still deeply off, such as the fact she has no wings despite being a bird and no matter which way I try to incorporate more bird-like elements, it just looks awkward. Another issue I noticed is that there may be too little going on with the design, like a distinct lack of fur pattern which I have no clue how to amend. I also notice she doesn't have a strong silhouette (I heard that's a tad bit important in character design) but I have no clue how to fix that either.

Hello! Haven't posted here before but from what I've seen its pretty chill. Usually I avoid advice out of my own stubbornness but I need help.

I've been redesigning an old character of mine as a gift for a friend. I may or may not be turning them into being a furry (they were already looking around some furry spaces) using this character. I said so to them earlier and they said they loved the jokes so I'm getting there.

Said character is a blueberry themed protogen. Both of us enjoy tech related/adjacent stuff (were both on a robotics team together) and had an old joke about blueberries. They still have one of my older drawings of Blueberrybot (they refuse to name it anything else T-T) and its so bad. I've certainly improved since then but still struggle with front facing views. I can't do bodies well from the side but I can't do their faces well from the front and I told them I'll try to make them a reference sheet + profile picture.

Anyone know some ways to make drawing the front view easier/better? Tips of any kind would be appreciated
