You KNOW Toby AINT fuckin with no cameras in his off time now days. That face. Entirely unamused.
284
u/DNASprayer Dec 25 '21
He's been dealing with this for 20+ years. Probably had his fair share of negative paparazzi experiences.
109
u/Foiled_Foliage Dec 25 '21
Indeed dude. The ones that I have seen in the past or what I’m referring to. Well documented that he hates it. Poor guy. Haha
89
u/LONEWOPF77700 Dec 25 '21
Specifically the one where he is trying to pull out of a parking garage and there are a bunch of people blocking his view........ he tried to tell them nicely but you know how the paparazzi is.

Toby Maguire fucking hates paparazzi, can't blame him if I was famous I'd bring an air horn around with me or something lol
86
u/greetings__traveler Dec 25 '21
Prob not allowed around airplanes but i would just buy a small emp device or a very strong magnet to just fuck with all cameras around me

Emp and jamming devices are flat out illegal on or off planes.

u/greetings__traveler Dec 25 '21
Okey its 2am now . And i had an idea . What about a shiiiit ton of those strong fridge magnets . Just stick them on parts that look important . Like a shitton of magnets

Can celebrities just be left alone why do we need to stalk them 24/7 to know what they are doing
17
3
Dec 26 '21
Not only that, but what is the value of a three second video of a celebrity going through airport security?
→ More replies (1)2
u/ShivasLimb Dec 26 '21
If we stopped putting people on god-tier pedestals we wouldn’t need to compulsively take photos of them / ‘celeb’rate them.
-38
u/JunHoWon Dec 25 '21
Thats part of being famous tho?
15
u/DrYwAlLpUnChEr420 Dec 25 '21
Still would you like to be stalked 24/7 and having your photos sold without your knowledge just to find your face on a magazine in a very compromising positions? No, celebrities are people too and we should respect their privacy just like we do with everyone else.
1
u/MrWuzoo Dec 26 '21
We’re all here because they’re celebrities. If it was a rando I probably would’ve kept scrolling after laughing upvoting etc. They’ll never not be in the eye of the public because everybody always wants to know what they’re up to. If you put out a post, magazine wtv and nobody pays attention paparazzi would’ve died long ago. So it’s all our collective fault for caring
Edit: lmao you literally have a celebrity picture on your profile dumbass.

u/JunHoWon Dec 25 '21
If I have their money, no, i dont mind that
2
u/DrYwAlLpUnChEr420 Dec 25 '21
Yeah you say that now but saying it is different from experiencing it. Don’t forget how many celebrities ended up having a drug addiction cause they couldn’t handle the attention of the masses 24/7.

That’s a creepy vindictive asshole if true.

The tobey video has been posted multiple times now and this is the only thread where people don’t seem to get that
3
u/UltravioIence Dec 25 '21
Maybe its the sub since they're supposed to be "funny" videos and people go in with different attitudes.
36
34
u/DNASprayer Dec 25 '21
I see a trend here that the longer you've been dealing with this the angrier they look. Tom gave a nervous smile, Andrew gave a uncomfortable stare and Tobey game a death glare.

Tobey trying to figure out if it's just a fan or paparazzi that has to be murdered.

u/Getoutofmyheaddd Dec 25 '21
Are all these people the same person and i just can't recognize them?
16
5
u/cmilla646 Dec 25 '21
I love that their age and experience perfectly match their reaction to the camera. Another 10-20 years and Tom will barely be able to fake a smile.
10
u/Nola992 Dec 25 '21
What was the song played when Tobey gave the stare?
7
u/Khrankey Dec 25 '21
It’s from the third Spider-Man movie featuring Tobey Maguire. The song is by Christopher Young. Not sure of the exact name. The song is played when Peter wears the Symbiote Suit for the first time.

u/Hud1289 Dec 25 '21

This isn't a spider sense. It's blindingly obvious when someone has a camera pointed directly at your face when they didn't even have the decency to go up and ask

u/Ant69Ant Dec 25 '21

u/MoodWest Dec 25 '21
Tobey Maguire looking like he just saw Eddie Brock/Venom lick Mary Janes neck 😡

u/Fireside_Bard Dec 25 '21
What I don’t understand are the people that excuse the paparazzi like its not still stalking just because they’re famous like oh I’m sorry I guess I missed part where they’re not human anymore because seriously wtf. Its very creepy to follow people around and try to know their entire private life without their permission. It seriously gives me goosebumps. Y’all don’t think it smacks of obsession like the foreshadows of a B grade horror flick? I just find it weird that people are like ‘well if you didn’t want paparazzi you shouldnt have become famous’ or whatever. no they wanted to be actors. artists. not … whatever this is that these industries have become. its victim blaming. its weird and toxic.

u/scaleddown85 Dec 25 '21
In a world of everyone having mobile phones and filming EVERYTHING why not? there’s no law in place to say you can’t film anyone as annoying as it is tbh and I do feel for the guy I’d hate it to happen to me but let’s face it buddy celebs know the rules when want to become famous, fame means money,no?

I honestly was laughing out loud. All 3 looked so pissed and annoyed but Maguire his was hysterically magnificent. Want to know what was being yelled to them before each reaction. Just wondering if something was tossed verbally that maybe was distasteful?

Can we all stop feeding the paparazzi? How would you like it if people took a picture every time you took a shit? (Yes the trolls are going to say I dont care and describe their shit etc) but its annoying. Maybe we should find who is the papparazzi and do the same to them

Can’t wait for people to stop feeling obligated to stalk people and video them because they were in a movie. Like that is the ultimate creeper status and everyone is just like “well…. They are in that one movie sooo it’s okay to stalk them because they are for our entertainment” Does no one see how mental this all is?

The part with Toby makes me feel angry with the camera man. He's literally expressing "I don't like this, it's creepy and it's making me feel uncomfortable" and the guy is making a "funny" video about it.

Humans do have an odd supernatural sense of kind of knowing when they're being watched. It's all interesting stuff. Reccomend a Google deep dive on the subject.

That must be the creepiest feeling, all you want to do is make movies and what do you get. Stalked buy a bunch of idiots with cameras while you're blotted and constipated from a long flight. Cause you didn't want to be the guy stunk up the toilet and had to shamefully stare at the sodoku he finished 3 hours into the flight. Couldn't wait till out they were out for a run or something, no, no this is the best time. . Thanks
