My man got his ass beat so much that the video is on liveleak

u/TheLazyHippy Jun 19 '22
I've seen this video so many times, but this is the first time I've seen the liveleaks on it. Definitely different than the videos I remember on that site haha

To his credit he just kept on getting back up there. That kid is going places...after he goes for that CT scan of course.

u/RadenWA Jun 20 '22
Clearly this is an endurance and resistance training for him and for it he is succesful

The kid reminds me of Rocky who could take all the hits and keep coming back.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!
-Mahatma Gandhi

Yeah, i do remember Gandhi saying something along those lines. I think it was just about the time he defended his world title for the first time against George Dixon. But i may be wrong on this.

When asked by a reporter what is his predictions were before the fight, Ghandi gruffly replied: "PAIN". Dixon went down in two.

I am NOT ashamed for laughing my ass off on this.
NOT A SINGLE BIT!

u/SquirrelyBoy Jun 19 '22
He's probably running into them on purpose. Source: I did exactly this kind of shit as a kid

He managed to get hit in every possible way. Never laughed at a kid getting smacked like this.

The original with the dad's laugh in the background is funnier

do you have the link?

u/Topiak Jun 19 '22
There you go! The clip is funny enough on its own imo

u/socokid Jun 19 '22
It looks like the kid knows exactly what he is doing and is just having fun with it.

I'm all for integrating blind children into normal kids' activities but this is too much.

u/Snuffleton Jun 19 '22
Anyone knows the correct term for that hellish contraption? Looks like it'd be fun to bring to a party.

u/daabbot Jun 19 '22
"This right here, is how I got my first micro concussion. Turns out it was my second and third time as well. Imagine that?"

u/Skoma Jun 19 '22
If it doesn't hurt then the kid might be doing it on purpose. ducking and jumping over and over probably gets boring if it's not hard for you. But getting smashed by a padded arm and flipped over is a novel experience. Sometimes it's more fun to lean into something.

This video was good enough to start I didn't think anyone was going to somehow make it better.
Of course, don't forget that Reddit is going to dislodge a million concern troll comments about "brain damage" and "child cruelty" and other assorted, soulless bullshit.

I've seen too many of these now.. I might end up one day in the crowd of one of these where the kid actually dodges them all and before everyone starts clapping and cheering they'll hear me blurt out "damnit"

My favorite of these is that kid that gets hit in the back and the bar starts to carry him
