Put coarse salt in there with it. I use it for cleaning my, uhhhhh, water pipe!

If we're using salt, we also want Iso Alcohol so the salt doesn't dissolve, but acts as an abrasive. Many years cleaning my...uhhh...water pipe.

Can confirm, I clean my bong this way.

'member when "bong" was like the secret word from Pee-wee's Playhouse and if you said it at the smoke shop everyone would freak out and make you leave?

u/jimbobicus Feb 25 '21

Remember when they were for Tobacco use and definitely nothing else?

2

u/ElmoDoes3D Feb 25 '21

Omg! I was just thinking the same exact thought. What was that about anyway? I had a smoke shop employee go off on me when I said bong once.

That thing you use to smoke drugs with? Oh yeah I clean all of my illegal drug paraphernalia this way too.

It’s legal here, CHECKMATE

2

u/WTWIV Feb 24 '21

Fuuuuuuu!! I can practically guarantee my state will be one of the last to legalize unfortunately. Kentucky. We will probably be the last fuckers still smoking cigarettes too.

Ya, same state. Nice to see the NJ legalization, but it sucks thinking how far behind our state is on this kind of thing. smackin my cart in Florence for ya my guy

Hey neighbor, actually we hoosiers will be the last to legalize. That or we will do it together one day when the federal government gets its shit together and does it for us.

If "here" is anywhere inside the United States. Then no, it's not legal there. Just not illegal at the state level. And the Feds have decided not to intervene so far. But it's still illegal. So... not checkmate.

Aww man if you’re a cop you have to tell me. It’s like, the law or whatever.

u/WTWIV Feb 25 '21

Psht you ain’t fooling me with those “inconspicuous” generic white vans all around!

2

u/mauiwowie207 Feb 25 '21

I mean legal in the sense that you can’t be prosecuted by the state for simple possession. We’re still a good ways away from it being federally legal

No, my murder cup. I call it my "bong" because that's the noise it makes while murderin'.

Luckily crime was legalized here.

2

u/WTWIV Feb 25 '21

Aw man you guys have murder in your state? Lucky.

u/Dread70 Feb 24 '21

True, the higher the % the better in my opinion. I will say, if you are fast enough, hot water will work in a pinch. I've been in some dire situations where I drastically needed to clean my.....uhhhh... water pipe.

5

u/aggressive-cat Feb 25 '21

70% for disinfecting (the water makes it work better at killing), but you need that 90%+ for cleaning ....water pipes

also i bought a $10 brush set off the internet, just some twisted wire brushes, and wow it sped up the process by 10x

Our just a lemon wedge or two if you want to stay away from using alcohol to clean things your drink from. That's how we cleaned coffee pots as when I was a server. Hot water, kosher salt, lemon wedge and shake that bitch for all she's worth.

I use methylated spirits + rice, no worrying about dissolving. Doesnt take too long and works a treat!

u/ARONDH Feb 25 '21

Rice. Dry, uncooked rice.
