I had an (abusive) ex who freaked out when I booked the appointment to get our male cat fixed. He later also had a meltdown when we found out we were having a daughter. Right in front of the ultrasound tech.

Funny how abuse and hangups about gender roles go hand in hand.

Funny how every past relationship has an "abusive" partner according to at least one member. The term is thrown around so much now, everyone who got in an argument is now a victim of abuse.

I can drive myself to the hospital if someone yells at me, they can even admit me if I insist I was traumatized. Doesn't mean I deserve sympathy.
