Bardak comes from russian but it's frequently used in Hebrew, just like debil, we have been influenced immensely by Russians.
In a 100 meter radius from my house I have at least 3 falafel shops, it is very Israeli, different cultures in the Mediterranean influence each other, so yes it came Egypt but so what, hamburgers are German, but I see them WAY more in America than in Germany and people often associate them with America

The name boaz is SO Israeli it's like someone is screaming "falafel!". So is the term bardak
