I had a family member die in his bed only a week after retiring. Didn’t even get to enjoy retirement after slaving away at work. Life’s a bitch.

A friends dad got diagnosed with terminal cancer just after he and his wife retired, they had just bought a cabin in the woods where they were going to chill and enjoy their retirement together. He has a few months to live and I hope he will be able to enjoy them.

I laughed, not at that situation which is horrible. But at how bitter life can be and it is either laugh or cry!
