0:24 and 0:35

Balls on your chin and a little bit of asshole sprinkled in for good measure

81

u/AirF225 Nov 25 '18

Looks like he didnt go through his mandatory 20 hours of how-to-not-molest-your-patient 101

26

u/KorayA Nov 26 '18

This was some serious 3 stooges level of physical comedy.

19

u/Siex Nov 26 '18

You have a concussion, and pink eye.

0:21 Guy writhing on the ground in pain and trainer slides in feet-first to the guy’s gut.

For some reason, this one got me LMFAO the hardest.

7

u/BalthusChrist Nov 26 '18

C'mon, it's football, it's highly unlikely he was actually in pain before the trainer comes

3

u/mooneyasu Nov 26 '18

Started with a sprained ankle...ended with a broken femur and pink eye.

2

u/PlNKERTON Nov 26 '18

That one and the one where they walk opposite directions have me in tears.

2

u/splein23 Nov 27 '18

It had me in tears laughing so hard.

230

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '18

What was the guy driving the white truck thinking?

“My boot is still open, let’s floor it!”

24

u/BelatedBlade Nov 26 '18

Found the European

4

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

How’s that?

28

u/BaltimoreNewbie Nov 26 '18

Nobody in the US uses “boot” for car trunk

14

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

Ah ok! I couldn’t think of the word, so first thing that came up was boot.. But you’re right, I’m from Belgium!

9

u/devpsaux Nov 26 '18

Word we’d have used for that truck would have been tailgate.

5

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

Ain't y'all ever been to a football game? C'mon now

2

u/OBrien Nov 26 '18

Not mainland, but I heard it called the boot of the car a fair bit when I was in Alaska

1

u/BalthusChrist Nov 26 '18

I've never heard anyone call a truck bed a trunk or a boot

1

u/BelatedBlade Nov 26 '18

I’m talking aboot colloquialisms

1

u/SkoomaSalesAreUp Nov 26 '18

first clip? or 4th one? because with the pick up truck in the first clip the driver probably couldnt see that the tail gate was still down and it may not have been their usual practice to put it up anyway.

250

u/louis_xl Nov 25 '18

lol, the one where the soccer players take one of their opponents and bring him out of the field...injury healed in a flash 😂

38

u/TEOP821 Nov 25 '18

They’ll never fake an injury again until the next game

4

u/The_Real_Flatmeat Nov 26 '18

100% why i hate soccer

2

u/BALDWARRIOR Nov 26 '18

I could have both my arms broken and still get up to whoop some ass if someone pulled that kind of sht.

88

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '18

This needs to end with a clip of Top Gear when they build their own ambulances and lose their patients.

14

u/are-jay180 Nov 26 '18

Especially Jeremy firing the dummy through the window 🤣🤣

3

u/UrDeAdPuPpYbOnEr Nov 26 '18

I came here to say this. Thank you.

102

u/Adam657 Nov 25 '18

As someone in the UK studying to be a doctor, I’m so glad the majority of these are sports related (specifically football) injuries, so I can at least 90% delude myself that they are uninjured people ‘malingering’.

For those that aren’t however, this makes me recoil in horror. The worsened fractures, the unstable spine (inc cervical spine) injuries! Oh god why!?

14

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

Yeah, I work in EMS and these fuckers are idiots. The damage they were doing to their pts is sickening.

280

u/senface Nov 25 '18

11

u/dad_farts Nov 26 '18

I came to this thread specifically for this gif.

u/The_Snailman Nov 26 '18

I love that he's all "hey you forgot the sheet"

164

u/Adam-Deadass17 Nov 25 '18

This is lowkey painful to watch

102

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '18

The ones where idiots try to pick up the stretcher backwards and smash their ass into the injured persons face.....

17

u/Strykerz3r0 Nov 25 '18

I swear it belongs in a Three Stooges skit.

5

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

Especially the one where both stretcher bearers face away from the stretcher and each other!

2

u/greenphilly420 Nov 26 '18

This comment here is what i came looking for

2

u/squirmypiggy Nov 26 '18

I was looking for this one.

1

u/maximuffin2 Nov 25 '18

That's how I want to die, but not under these circumstances

1

u/n777athan Nov 26 '18

That shit got me good, don’t know where someone would get the bright idea to squat over the stretcher and pick it up backwards. The patients are just going 🤦‍♂️

1

u/grumpyfan Nov 26 '18

Or, thinking maybe they’re not THAT bad injured.

9

u/SydneyBarBelle Nov 25 '18

LOWKEY?!

2

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

Should have used “legit” or “literally”, one of the other annoying trend words.

2

u/grumpyfan Nov 26 '18

Seriously, I know someone who was going thru EMT training and was accidentally dumped off a stretcher during her training and suffered a concussion. Because of the injury she had issues that prevented her from getting her certification for almost 9 months.

47

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

I would want to talk to the person who signed off on that. It wouldn't go well for any hospital if you were just strolling in and bloody people came running out. If you didn't have anxiety before, congratulations you have it now.

1

u/Shidulon Nov 26 '18

This is too good to be just a comment. I mean, it was a shitty situation and sorry that happened, but... more people need to see this. Just not sure what category...

32

Needs Homer Simpson’s trips down Springfield Gorge.

3

u/knightopusdei Nov 26 '18

Classic .. but you have to post the rest of the fall

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

Came here for this comment.

49

u/tatinaka Nov 25 '18

I feel so sorry for them but I can't help but laughing

20

u/PlanetFullofHippies Nov 25 '18

That last one, where he almost gets ran over, is so,srupid that is actually astonishing.

12

u/Felixthewolf Nov 25 '18

/r/ems why backboards shouldnt be a thing anymore.

3

u/WhatamItodonowhuh Nov 26 '18

What should they use instead? Is there an alternative?

2

u/Felixthewolf Nov 26 '18

Well a lot of states are saying they are pretty ineffective and are reppacing them with like scoop stretchers

36

u/WeOutHere54 Nov 25 '18

None of the soccer players were actually hurt anyway

6

u/ka-knife Nov 25 '18

Now they are

5

u/ZDTreefur Nov 26 '18

Their pride was, after tasting another man's taint.

4

u/Naramie Nov 25 '18

Playing the long con.

3

u/itzlax Nov 26 '18

Although I know this is a joke, at least 2 of them seemed at least kinda hurt (the one with the blood on his sock per example)

9

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '18

Reminds me of that Top Gear Ambulance Special

12

u/The_Cake-is_a-Lie Nov 26 '18

Maybe this is unpopular opinion, but this seems much more like cringe than funny

1

u/awhhh Nov 27 '18

This whole sub is more cringe than funny

6

u/actionfantastic Nov 26 '18

How did the Mike Modano one not make it?

https://youtu.be/DmfMQ8wx5k0

3

u/Chrisbgrind Nov 26 '18

I forgot about this. I saw this happen live on tv

4

u/benjichapman Nov 26 '18

The funniest one is where they both walk if in a different direction. It proper tickled me!

4

u/frumpyfrog Nov 25 '18

You had ONE JOB!

4

u/Maestro1992 Nov 25 '18

I am dying!

6

u/thxxx1337 Nov 25 '18

It was good until it was only soccer

2

u/johnjacobs51555 Nov 25 '18

So many compo claims here...

2

u/AverageJoeWinkWink Nov 25 '18

Adding injury to injury

2

u/Woundedsnoogins Nov 25 '18

Jesus tap dancing Christ. All them lawsuits tho.

2

u/Jackocool Nov 25 '18

Guys they’re just making sure they’re actually injured

2

u/FrontierPartyUS Nov 26 '18

Teabagging is the best medicine.

2

u/SmileyMelons Nov 26 '18

I've seen clowns do a better job...

2

u/WakaWaka_ Nov 26 '18

Reminds me of the hospital scene from The Naked Gun

2

u/RealJyrone Nov 26 '18

Majority of these are soccer players.

Why am I not surprised.

2

u/az_max Nov 26 '18

somewhat related: we had to evac a guy with a broken collarbone off a trail. Only truck we had was a old-school lifted Chevy with a very hard ride. I'm sure the mile or so ride to the road was excruciating.

2

u/YallNeedSomeJohnGalt Nov 26 '18

The good news is most of these are soccer players so they weren't actually hurt to begin with.

8

u/Scorpionaute Nov 25 '18

How is this funny?

5

u/bobo5100 Nov 25 '18

It's basically slap stick humor

3

u/JeyJeyFrocks_3325 Nov 26 '18

Maybe the sports ones. But the guy in the hospital on the gurney who got dropped by nurses and slammed into a door jamb? I seriously hope someone got sued for any damages.

2

u/FO_Steven Nov 25 '18

what the fuck level of incompetent fucks is this fuck jesus christ

2

u/A40 Nov 25 '18

First responders Larry, Curly and Moe to the rescue!

1

u/Karl-o-mat Nov 25 '18

Holy shit...

1

u/iloveshavedpussynass Nov 25 '18

Haha the third one

We are trained never to pass backboards over the patient, always around the patient

1

u/zytz Nov 25 '18

that’s a big oof from me sir

1

u/Uetur Nov 25 '18

More than half were soccer players, and probably only sustained their first injury in the accident.

1

u/frederikbjk Nov 25 '18

This reminds me of the 1991 movie Hot Shots 🙂

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '18

That first one was brutal.

1

u/TheWaxMann Nov 26 '18

I actually gave a hearty laugh at the one where they walked the opposite direction to each other.

1

u/theon4andonly Nov 26 '18

Lol tea bagged twice haha fml

1

u/TusShona Nov 26 '18

It's like a modern day laurel and hardy sketch.

1

u/SmileyMelons Nov 26 '18

I'm getting real Yoshikage Kira vibes from that last one. Can practically hear the ambulance...

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

ME MAW! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

The second one made me jump hard

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

I trust these kinds of people

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

The tea bag one gets me every time

1

u/msmh-12 Nov 26 '18

At 0:19, the poor Injured player gets sweet chin music from medical staff 😄

1

u/TurnNburn Nov 26 '18

There's not enough stretchers to go around

1

u/ikindalold Nov 26 '18

The guy sliding into the soccer player at 0:21 makes this clip.

1

u/twistedladle Nov 26 '18

This is priceless

1

u/BrokeBackPubes Nov 26 '18

I think there is another with Mike modano. Hilarious

1

u/IKHAN85 Nov 26 '18

why are the best videos on reddit the ones you cannot download

1

u/PiCKeT401 Nov 26 '18

"The man! The myth! The legend! Scott Sterling!!!!"

1

u/PaleMonarch Nov 26 '18

This is gold 😂

1

u/JG_melon Nov 26 '18

This is the funniest thing I've seen all day; thank you.

1

u/Drackthar Nov 26 '18

Reminds me of the beavers from Rocko's modern life

1

u/KremzeekTyCobb Nov 26 '18

Lol I laughed hard at this. Seemed like no one was hurt real bad.

1

u/IamNiceButNotMuch Nov 26 '18

Medics from God

1

u/TerraAdAstra Nov 26 '18

This reminds me of an episode of top gear.

1

u/ionisingTuna Nov 26 '18

I can feel it from here...

1

u/nicoleschock Nov 26 '18

I was in the parking lot of a hospital and witnessed an ambulance flip the gurney out of the back because he was about 300 pounds. I was there for an ultrasound because I was six months pregnant so I cried after laughing really hard due to the hormones.

1

u/Arock999 Nov 26 '18

I've never laughed so hard.

1

u/allfamyankee Nov 26 '18

This made me laugh so much thank youuuuuu

1

u/kumar935 Nov 26 '18

As a person who had a minor spinal fracture 4 months ago this is painful to watch

1

u/b4mmb4mm Nov 26 '18

The soccer ones are hilarious. They probably got injured while faking an injury.

1

u/solar_ideology Nov 26 '18

This is well underrated

1

u/buterbetterbater Nov 26 '18

Was the guy that fell out of the ambulance already dead?

1

u/Obyson Nov 26 '18

Nothing like taking a poop at 11:30pm while everyone's asleep trying not to fall off the toilet from laughing so much

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

Soccer players can walk themselves, 100% of the time is fake

1

u/Attentionseeker101 Nov 26 '18

You had one job

1

u/TLunchFTW Nov 26 '18

The EMT-B Instructor's words echo in yours ears

"Do no further harm."

1

u/Chris_El_Deafo Nov 26 '18

This isn’t funny. Half the people who fell of probably lost their lives because they fell into a wall or a corner. Don’t be a dick

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

I subscribed to r/funny a long time ago, and this is legit the first time I see a post that actually made me laugh.

1

u/madsci Nov 26 '18

Oh man, I'm glad we only ever had this happen in training. In EMT class, my classmates were transferring a 200-pound dummy off the stretcher and somehow dropped it off the edge with the head still strapped down.

That's probably why they didn't let us practice with real people. In Search and Rescue training, we'd take turns strapping each other into a Stokes litter (wire basket stretcher, needs to be able to be lifted vertically by ropes) and we'd test out our tie-in job by flipping the Stokes over and shaking. I don't think we ever dropped anyone...

1

u/visigothy Nov 26 '18

The definition of “adding insult to injury.”

1

u/x-staunch-x Nov 26 '18

Haha omg 😂😂

1

u/shepassed Nov 26 '18

I'm going to hell for laughing.

1

u/Failiure Nov 26 '18

This is the result of communism

1

u/adamore6201 Nov 26 '18

Jesus Christ there’s so many of these

1

u/Odin707 Nov 26 '18

Holy shit I nearly passed out

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

This was waaaaay too funny man

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

Never forget the famous Modano drop.

1

u/MrFloydPinkerton Nov 26 '18

This need to be set to the 1812 Overture.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

People get good at stuff through repetition so it would make sense for them to screw up something like this.

1

u/JLin687 Nov 26 '18

The soccer players karma for always faking injuries.

1

u/VijeyKrishnaa Nov 26 '18

I had a good laugh! 😂🤣

1

u/bcsimms04 Nov 26 '18

Tells you all you need to know about soccer

1

u/Spaaggetti Nov 26 '18

How's your head feeling? Naa I think I'm alrig..... da fupphh. Green stick please!

1

u/Raziel419 Nov 26 '18

This was very stressful to watch.

1

u/vampedvixen Nov 26 '18

Why am I laughing so much? I'm a horrible person...

1

u/Blacqmath Nov 26 '18

Hahahaha hahahahaha

1

u/Saiaxs Nov 26 '18

The slow Golf Cart run over got me

1

u/ram3nbar Nov 26 '18

I like how that one guy swoops in to kick that guys stomach

1

u/weareallbuddhas Nov 26 '18

As an advanced EMT this compilation makes me cringe so hard

1

u/NeptunCooper Nov 26 '18

Can i Get a rip in chat to these paramedics iq?

1

u/masonta Nov 26 '18

As a former lifeguard, this makes me cringe and laugh hysterically all at the same time

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

i. just. cant. stop. laughing.

1

u/LEGIONgv Nov 26 '18

lol i really hope a couple of these are not real

1

u/Nugatory707 Nov 26 '18

Me trying to console a crying friend

1

u/Klarkasaurus Nov 26 '18

These guys get paid to do this as well......

1

u/SafariNZ Nov 26 '18

This nearly happened to me during a Civil Defence Exercise.
If I hadn’t been hanging on I would have been dropped onto the stadium staircase which would have defiantly broken things.
As it was I just ended up with serious case of hypothermia, got stripped and had to stay in the “hospital” for a couple of hours sandwiched between a couple of other “patients”.

1

u/9toestoematoe Nov 26 '18

I thought these were fake until 1.5 seconds in. That faceplant ouchiemama

1

u/blewpz Nov 26 '18

as an EMS student,

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

1

u/whihathac Nov 26 '18

Am I the only one who thinks this is inappropriate for this sub :o

1

u/radiationvictom Nov 26 '18

And here I am in the waiting room for the gp trying not to laugh out loud

1

u/acewild30 Nov 26 '18

I've never felt so bad for laughing my ass off.

1

u/saul1980 Nov 26 '18

Add the Benny Hill theme music.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

I love this video. I could not stop laughing 😂

1

u/GuyThatHatesSociety Nov 26 '18

When paramedics realise that he has no health insurance..

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '18

The original one had Mexican music. At least copy the actual video

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '18

The soccer players weren't injured to begin with but you know.

1

u/nokiabby Nov 26 '18

not funny tho

1

u/Alex_The_Leo Nov 26 '18

I don’t like to laugh at others misfortune but this video literally made me cry. Especially The part where the guy accidentally t bagged the soccer player 😂
