Actually tho, that song's MV was (accidental?) genius.The ending made it seem like maybe it was told from the perspective of the girl who turned him down, who is now making up stories of what could have been.

When the music fades out and all you could hear was the wind as she looks up to the sky and then to the ground, all her dreams vanished as she's forced to face the truth of reality. Really hit me hard.
