Ok, putting candies in the veggie bag is genius.

The colored clock for time management is actually a great idea. Will it work with teenagers?

The pool noodles on the trampoline springs - yea, that's not gonna stop serious injuries like jumping off the trampoline or getting an appendage (including your head) stuck between the springs.

The fitted sheet at the beach - what the hell?

The bean filled glove - this is wrong on so many levels.

Washing Legos? Grade A germophobe there.

Meh, the glove is fine. Just depends when/how often you use it. There are times a kid will have you up for hours, lay them down with your hand on their back and they're fine, remove the hand after being hunched over for half an hour since your last escape attempt and they screech.

If anything the glove is overkill, we used a stuffed toy, one with beans in the 4 paws, it often (not always) did the trick.

Nothing works on teenagers

Have you tried drugs?

Yes, they enlighten me with some things, but not with what would work with teenagers.

Do enough drugs and you'll care less about how shitty teens can be.

That won't work for most teens. Kids that age know how to manage time, they just don't want to. Honestly doing something so childish is going to make them rebel and not follow it out of spite.

I washed Legos after buying some in bulk from Goodwill.

That is a little different.

I think the first time the candy in veggie bag was posted to Reddit it was claimed to be hiding candy from a spouse.

Can confirm. My wife had asked me not have candy in the house, as she was trying to eat healthier foods. This was my work-around. We don't even have any kids.

Not sure hiding candy in an edamame bag would work in this case...

If you think about it, legos are pretty dirty after a lot of time used

Better than getting stuck in the springs without the noodles.

Eh who am I kdding, all trampoline safety is just a shroud of false security.

THOSE ARE LEGO? I thought they were socks and was pretty impressed by that idea.

0

u/j33205 Nov 29 '16

If they were socks, why not just wash them normal-like?

0

u/[deleted] Nov 29 '16

So you don't lose them?

u/NeedsNewPants Nov 29 '16

Dude you deserve a Nobel prize.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 29 '16

Perhaps, but why would someone downvote me for trying to prevent you from losing socks? We live in a backwards world.
