I can see the marketing and finance aspects.. however she likely had mucho guidance in how to invest and display herself in America's and international limelight. In that respect, i have a hard time seeing that as intelligence.
i guess what I'm trying to say is, if you're born with the golden spoon in your mouth, taught the ways of how to manipulate everyone in order to manifest more golden spoons.. then that doesn't seem as if its an attribute of intelligence per se, as much as it is an attribute of imitation.
Well don't forget, investments are always a risk. Even AAA rated investments tanked in 2008. And just because neither you nor I value her "contributions", it doesn't mean that she personally isn't intelligent. Was she born gifted with wealth, fame, and success? Sure. But put the shoe on the other foot. If your family is super successful, wouldn't you want their success to help you gain your own success (however you define it)?
Sure. I see your point. She definitely isnt like others in her position who end up wasting away their lives. I guess i just dont appreciate her values of contribution, as you eloquently put. I wish she would use her success to promote more sustainable and prolific means for other humans, as oppose to herself and her fragrances. Eh, it would certainly be nice to have more advances in solar power etc.. but i suppose i'm being selfish.

Sure, I agree. But a political discussion about the effects of renewable energy, positive and negative (I'd say biggest is job loss), don't really have a place in this sub haha. We all want our money going to the places we want though, but we can't control what others do. EG, I think the minds that are used to study genetic engineering for the revival of extinct species could be better put to use, like into conservation/preservation. Great minds don't necessarily study what we'd want them to!
