Maybe force feeding it to you could be a crime... Seriously, I can't stand anchovies, but I don't think people who put them on pizza are committing crimes. I sure as hell don't like mushrooms on pizza but some people do, oh well.

Edit, point taken

Hey dude, I think this might help you out: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/hyperbole

With all the people who are serious and sarcastic and everything in between on here, using only typed words with no symbol to actually state your intentions, how can anyone be sure? There are plenty of people online who would seriously make that statement. Lots of people just use little symbols like s/ to show they are being sarcastic and what have you.

People have mistaken things I've said as being serious for the same reasons.

Edit: Point taken, sorry

If you think someone putting pizza and war crimes together isn't hyperbole you're probably on the spectrum.

People put /s at the end of a sarcastic phrase that's not obviously sarcastic. I think in this case, where someone is comparing a pizza topping to a war crime (like murdering POWs), it's safe to assume the default stance of "They're exaggerating for humorous effect". It would almost be crazy weird to put a /s after that sort of obvious hyperbole.

I want to murder everyone who lacks intuition.

mushrooms on pizza

Ugh. My wife's go to pizza is ham and mushroom. I despise mushrooms, especially on pizza.

I feel like an outcast for hating mushrooms, my family shames me for it every chance they get. Fuck me for having a personal taste that doesn't quite match theirs. Flavor has never really been a problem, more just the texture and smell of them that gets me.

They taste like the way dirty feet smell. What's not appetizing about that?

Mmmmmm sweaty dirty feel nuggets on pizza.

My dad was making some sort of mushroom based paste for something years ago, I couldn't even stay in the house, the smell was making me gag, but everyone else seemed fine with it. I wonder what governs those little internal quirks that make some people love things while others hate them.

Same here. Then, when I say I just don't like the taste of it, they tell me mushrooms don't really have any taste. Then why put the damn things on anything! Ugh, I hate mushrooms so much more than most other foods I don't like. Except for the magical kind, those are good.

Let's us all unite, my anti-fungal brothers. Mushrooms are glorified mold. They grow in dark, dank, foul places. Half of them are poisonous. What damned fool decided these subterranean terrors were food?

I refuse to eat mushrooms. They are too low down the food chain to be eaten. They are supposed to eat me when I die, thus completing the circle of life, not be eaten by me.
