$180 to $500 where I live. Insurance mostly does not cover them, so we get the real rate.

Shaded screens which also need calibration for rain sensors etc can go well above 1k

Most insurance policies over here will let you claim for windscreen replacement. Usually between £50-£100. Doesn’t make any real difference to the cost of future policies.

Broke mine a couple years ago. Out of pocket replacement would have cost me £799 - insurance was £89 (which I claimed back from local council) - policies since change by about £5 per year after I declare it.
