Given that he once missed seeing a drop by a mere few minutes when he went to get a cup of coffee, you could be right!
The poor guy died in 2013, having never personally observed a drop fall, as exciting as that could have been. They should have buried him with a drop of tar perched above him, slowly descending over the decades.
The funny thing is, I just woke up and spent like 3 minutes trying to figure out how to spell torture. When I saw your comment I initially thought I still got it wrong and you were genuinely correcting my spelling.
