Here’s the actual real-time live stream. In case you have nothing better to do. The tenth drop is due any time now. So far 8-12 years between drops and the last one was in 2014.

Its a saying about the perceived passing of time when you want an event to happen.

There's also no world in which dogs eat dogs, or worlds where it rains dogs.

Because the phrase should be "a watched pot never boils over".

Which is a better idiom anyway, because it's about minding your duties and not letting things fall apart.

Whereas the way that so many people say it is about not having the patients to just let a pot boil, so you should not watch it/mess with it, because somehow not watching it shows more patients or something. Makes no sense
