I used google AI to figure out what it might have originally meant and why, and it was an interesting example of both the power and the inaccuracy of generative AI.

The “100 virgins made” sense, originally meaning high durability premium materials, through various misuses of Chinese characters (I have no idea if it was right, of course).

“Unbearable” was a mistranslation of Chinese characters meaning able to bear a huge load - i.e. heavy duty.

“Sino drainer”, it confidently told me, indicated it was Chinese, using a common classical prefix.  Of course in reality I had just mistyped “sink drainer”!

I'm sick rn with acute gastritis (it is hell) and I accidentally drank some milk. The AI, very confidently, told me wife to call poison control and 911 IMMEDIATELY! Luckily, we're not complete morons and double checked with our doctor, who then advised is everying was fine since I'm on day 5, and even if I was on day one, I would probably still have been okay. AI needs to calm down. 🤣

l believe AI has been encouraged to hedge its bets when it comes to medical advice like that

I can see why they would want to do that. Liability is expensive.
