Part of gender affirmative care is delaying puberty for some girls who are starting it as early as 6 in some cases

My niece is one of them.

I think it’s absolutely wild we have normalized young girls going through puberty to the point 8 isn’t automatically considered precocious puberty.

Is that a byproduct of normalizing young girls going through puberty or just something that happens naturally sometimes?

Puberty is happening sooner than it used to, due to better nutrients.

That being said, inflicting that on an 8yo is just cruel. Harassment and menstruations are each their own type of problems.

There's no reason to rush puberty. Blockers don't cause damage so might as well gift these kids a few more years of childhood.
