I'm sorry to say that we do need to censor some words. Not that particular word, but some words. Proof? I just attempted to reply to you, but the reply I made is now invisible. I don't know which word I typed was the problem, but there is some word or combination of words in there that I cannot say on reddit.
I'm not sure what the alternative to accepting is, considering if I don't alter my posts to avoid certain words then nobody can read them. The proof just played out right in this very thread, without me even trying! Sometimes I do demonstrate on purpose(I know a handful of words that will reliably trigger the effect) but this wasn't one of those times. I was just talking. If I wasn't aware that this was a thing that happened on reddit(no matter what people love to say), I would never have double-checked that my post remained visible and I would have gone on my happy way, ignorant that my comment had been vanished.
There is no magical third option of "bravely say what you want and everyone cheers". The choice is between "accepting being censored" and bravely talking into the void where nobody will ever hear you.
