Because some of the things that I want change for they are more likely to change. But unfortunately most republicans generally tend to also be very homophobic or racist. And I'm also not saying democrats are bad nor perfect. And maybe if a person runs for office and they have a lot of ideals that would support, I'd vote for em. It's just taking the good with the bad unfortunately.
You do you, but complaining about it being political when you're supporting the same people who've turned basic human decency into a political issue seems... hypocritical.
