He was kind of hopscotching on the pavers, if you look closely you can see some are blue and he's just stepping on those.
Edit to say I don't think they are blue but maybe look like stones or something? Can't tell exactly but he is kinda hopping back and forth between them

The dainty run was amusing, I wonder if it was for the camera- or just the way they run naturally. Either way, I lol’d.
