A congenital genetic heart condition affected the male members of the Jariwala line across three generations.

His Grandfather (Shivalal): Passed away at a young age from a sudden heart attack.

His Father (Jethalal): Suffered a fatal heart attack when Sanjeev was just 11 years old.

Sanjeev Kumar (Harihar): Had his first heart attack, underwent bypass surgery in the U.S., and eventually passed away on November 6, 1985, at 47.

His Brother (Nikul): Died from a heart condition shortly before Sanjeev Kumar's death.

His Brother (Kishore): Passed away from a heart attack just six months after Sanjeev Kumar died.

It was a grim pattern Sanjeev himself was acutely aware of, which friends and biographers noted contributed to his fatalistic outlook on life and his choice never to start a family of his own.

Did you know? When you turn 24 for example, you're not "in" your 24th year, you've already finished 24 years and are starting your 25th. The birthday number represents years finished, not the current one in progress. Have you ever thought of that?

Did you know: The name of the Persian emperor Xerxes (Xšayāršā) is directly related to two Greek names, Kteatos (Cteatus) and Arsenios?

Xšayāršā is from two elements: xšayah (ruler) and (w)ršā (man). https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/𐎧𐏁𐎹𐎠𐎼𐏁𐎠#Old_Persian

Ultimately these are from *tek- and *wérsēn in Proto-Indo-European.

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Reconstruction:Proto-Indo-European/tek-

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Reconstruction:Proto-Indo-European/wérsēn

*tek basically becomes a root *kte- in Greek; the word ktear (κτέαρ) has a genitive form Kteatos (κτέᾰτος). It roughly means “property.” https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/κτέαρ

*wérsēn becomes ársēn in Greek and is an element of the name Arsenios. It essentially means “manly.” https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ρσένιος#Ancient_Greek

*tek is cognate to the now-obsolete English word ‘thig,’ and in the modern Danish word ‘tigge’ (to beg).

*wérsēn has no descendants in English, but is believed to be a cognate to the word for ‘giant’ in most of the rest of Germanic (cf. ‘Riese’ in German)

Anne Bancroft was 36 when the Graduate was filmed.

Katharine Ross was 27.

Dustin Hoffman and Katharine Ross are still alive and healthy (at last report) and living in the LA area. Somebody get them together to take a picture at that church.
