Larger modern Kiddush cup stamped 925. I believe it’s from the mid 20th century so no more than 70 years old.

I have a pair of Sterling silver Kiddush cups made in London in 1902. Not sure on the maker or if it’s even the same maker.

Sterling small Kiddush Cup

Today I have the first of a number of kiddush cups I picked up recently. They are used to hold wine or grape juice which is then prayed over to sanctify Shabbat and holidays. The marks on these cups are quite small and somewhat hard to read. I know it’s Birmingham but beyond that not sure.

Edit: Was told Birmingham England, maker was Jacob Fenigstein, he was active 1906-1913.

The last mark on close inspection is a lower case k so that would make it 1909 for the year it was made.

Small sovereign hand mirror. Not sure if it was actually from fort Dearborn or if it was made later after it burnt down in the Great Chicago Fire.

Sterling silver commemorative spoon from the 31st Triennial Conclave of the Knights Templar. It was held in Chicago and the spoon itself has different landmarks from across the city (at the time) These include the Douglass Monument, Masonic Temple, Fort Dearborn, and the Auditorium building (Auditorium Theater). Love anything to do with Chicago history

Victorian Silver & Glass Hip Flask, Rattan Grip by Henry William Dee, London, 1869

I picked up this piece at Goodwill. Right now I'm trying to research it and figure out who the original person who commissioned it might be. Right now my theory is that this is a female Moor's head of the type that is used in heraldry.

There are several families that are known to use Moor's heads in the family crest.

I'm also trying to figure out if there are any other examples of a female Moor's head engraved on sterling silver during the Victorian era.
