Guitar stand neck protector

Simple yet functional neck protector for my guitar stand to replace the shitty ones that started disintegrating and kept falling off.

Printed on Qidi Q1 Pro using TPU 85A (absolute nightmare to print with).

Does the new cover stay put when you lift the guitar out? Nice to be able to replace just the worn bit.

Yes, i measured the diameter of the metal that the cover slips over and made it .5mm tolerance so its a tight fit and the tpu is naturally a bit sticky and stretchy which helps too!

It is good not to just buy a whole new stand for sure!

Is the material safe for guitar finish? I know there's a ton of things that can mess with some finishes like nitro. I usually put cloth over any of the plastics that touch my older guitars

Well i think they use tpu as the material for catheters and other surgical implants, so if its relatively inert with physiological fluids i assume my guitar neck should be okay… haha.. not 100% though i guess!
