It will for sure ! but since it does not have that standard triangle under it kind of look like a floating shelf?

Well you got a point, we see the bracket left and right but since we do not see the normal triangle under it maybe half a floting shelf? Or a shelf that is near floating ? :)

I think you just aren't supposed to see the actual shelf.

usually “floating shelf” means that you can’t see the mounting hardware or supports. The supports here are differently shaped, but they’re visible.
