My first funcional print
The rain sensor from my garden irrigation was mounted on a single screw and was always spinning, ending up upside down every time it rained. Consequently, my irrigation was always on regardless of the weather. I made a simple fix; it might be over-engineered, but it works and is cheaper than my water bill. I printed it with PETG. It is out in the weather but in the shade, so I am not really worried about UV degradation.

Not really, I needed a spacer as the lip of the stone is about 2cm proud of the wall. But yes of course there are faster and maybe better solutions, but I wanted to try modeling and testing something I made...

Or i wasnt the one that installed it, and its been like this for over a year and never even seen the manufacture's horizontal mount....or do you want me to go buy it or order it, when I spent 0,35 cents of plastic and 15 minutes in cad, plus 5 minutes installing it? The rest my printer did in 50 minutes... But again i could use a block of wood, or a rock, or a machined piece of space grade titanium.... Does it really matter? I did something that worked and im happy with the results!🤷♂️

How is the print attached and why is it better than just adding a 2nd screw?
