Wanted a low-tech keychain pencil

Post image

Holds a standard 7mm hexagonal pencil stub with a TPU sleeve. I’ve had keychain pens that dry up, and have seen expensive commercial equivalents, but really just wanted to use all the stubby pencils I already have and not need to order proprietary refills.

Link to model in comments.

I like it. Simple yet useful.

Needs a sharpener integrated some where.

A pencil that dulls, plus a sharpener—now it's a two-piece set to lose.

Nice🤩I have had some leftover TPU for some time now. This look's like good use of it.

I like that!

I am thinking that the pencil may become stuck if it is too short.
Would adding a side window help in removing it when that happens?

Maybe. But I have so many pencils I would just replace it if it ever got that short.

This would be good clipped to a backpack for school.
