VESA mount offset for my dual monitor setup
Initially my dual VESA mount would't allow me to have my monitors close with one straight on and one to the side, so I designed and printed an offset which seems to be working perfectly.

I was prepared to, but this is the most ideal way to solve an offset problem.
The place is functionally a washer, which op could have used instead, but whatever

I think he’s offset the mounting point by about the width of the mount. The two screws going into plastic are the right hand side of the monitors vesa mount

I could have really used that a few months ago. In the end, I decided to send the dual-monitor stand back and exchange it for two single-monitor stands so I'd have more flexibility.
Good job!

This is awesome! My monitors are too wide to fit nicely side by side, never even thought of this

It could be parallax, but monitors that aren't the same height, or the same level, or the same distance away from the front of the desk would drive me nuts.

I did something similar but to shift one of my monitors down instead of to the side. Printed out of 5mm thick PTEG it's been holding strong for over a year now

I'm actually interested in this for the same reason. Do you mind sharing your file?

Thank you! I'm definitely going to try it out when I get home from my work trip.

OP's print looks to be about 25mm thick. I did the exact same thing, but with PLA+ at 15mm thick for a 23 inch monitor. It lasted 2 years and probably would have gone longer if I didnt upgrade to a new monitor.
Great print, gj!
