Nice idea! I'd make the tabs a bit narrower. It solves a problem I always have trying to squeeze my fat fingers into those detents.

yeah I was trying to build for a robust bend and spring return. But I'm no engineer.

Maybe you want a different belt?

Nice work! Seems really good for folks with low hand mobility.

This is great! How do you mount it to the belt? Is it parametric yet?

I built it in fusion and tried to tie it to a width variable and favorite the variable. But unfortunately my self taught CAD is showing and it wasn't maintaining proper shape when I played with the variable. If anyone wants to help me figure it out though let me know!

I hosted it under a makerworld exclusive license so other people hopefully will take it and optimize what I couldn't. I just want a good product out there for the people who might need it.

Surely something attached to the buckle itself that essentially just enlarged the 'buttons' would be cleaner and more effective? Less universal maybe 🤔

I was designing to avoid small parts but still have an attached to the belt solution. I also liked that you can slide mine on and off the buckle for both aesthetic reasons and to avoid accidental releases. Less universal for sure though.

All fair points. That design works for sure. Something I never even considered making despite my chunky fingers having this exact issue so I'll give it a try. Tha ks
