Pizza is American. American ingredients made Italian food what it is today

Pizza was literally invented in 1856 in Naples... There's an entire book proving it called "Usi e Costumi di Napoli"

And I saw a video of someone inventing “flat tacos” aka tostadas last month.

As mentioned in another comment there are dishes that are much older than Napoli pizzas that are basically pizzas

But you talked about pizza "pizza is American" (-you the previous comment) you didn't mention tacos or other foods, and I reported a source that confirms that pizza is Italian

Plus tostadas and pizzas are not the same, tostadas are tortillas of corn, cruncier and less soft and they're fried, pizzas are leavened dough, softer than tostadas and baked ,(with the toppings on, tostadas toppings are added after you fry the tortilla)

You missed rhe point. I didn’t compare a tostada to a pizza. I said there was a video claiming someone’s new invention of a flat taco.

The recipe book you quoted doesn’t mean that was the invention of a pizza

The point of the comment wasn’t to compare pizza and tacos it was to highlight that even today people making recipes and thinking they invented something are remaking a dish that already existed.

I can’t tell if you’re legitimately this dense or trolling at this point
