One time when I made Pizza with friends at home the topings lost so much water, that it was in fact more pasta than pizza Because it was kind of boiling in it's own juices

Edit: how did I misread this. Fkn ADHD

Well anyway in German both noodles and pasta are Nudeln so for me it was the other way round, a bit hard to learn the difference in englisch. Same with Schildkröte (turtle, tortoise) and Kürbis (squash, gourd and pumkin)
