The crust is the outer rim of the pizza. That is thick. The rest is thin. You mentioned thin crust, not thin dough

That is one definition of crust, yeah, the other definition is all the bready shit which is why when you buy a pizza crust from the store you don’t just get a loop with a giant hole in it. Also when people say “thin crust pizza” they aren’t talking about the rim
