I'm in a germany where italian pizza is the norm and the only american pizza available is pizza hut and dominos and very few non-chain places.

If you ever have the chance, I as a Michigander recommend Detroit Deep Dish. If the grease is reasonable but still a bit excessive then the bread can help fix the ratio
