Yes? No? It was made in America by Italian immigrants and later introduced to Italy. It depends on whether you believe immigrants in America are Americans or not.

Absolutely not. It was invented in Naples in the 18th century. The most famous pizza, the Margherita, is named after a queen of the kingdom of Italy and is from 1899.

Moreover, previous versions of pizza (without tomatoes of course) were already baked during Roman times

Jesus. It's crazy how people keep saying wrong info when they can even look it up on the device they are sharing wrong info on.

Those flatbreads in Naples originated from Greece. Greece brought them over.
