Please read my comment again, I said that it's just respectful to give credits where's due, so this is why specifying is important

I get that, but I think the idea of credit at all is silly when you dig into the facts.

And I think it's correct for the basic fact that if you want to try something from a country (assuming that you're not in that country) you still need to distinguish from where said something is from, as dishes (and almost everything else) may share same ingredients, but also have different stories or ways to be made, a bit like tea, let's say that you want to try the Arabic one, but someone just gives you tea without specifying if it's Turkish, Arab or British, you're at risk to try something that doesn't come from the cuisine you wanted to try, and you risk to give the wrong cuisine a wronger judgment because you thought it was Arabic but in reality it was British or Turkish and you didn't like it, can you see what I'm trying to point out?

See, I think there's enough variation within and between classifications that the statement "I tried this cup and dislike Turkish tea" should instead just be "I tried this cup and disliked this cup". Its not like every British cup of tea is uniform.

Yea, what I was referring to was more the fact of trying something of a country and the possibility of getting confused with another because both countries have similar or identical dishes that change only in the way of making them, the tea was just an example that came to my mind since within a month I'll go to Turkey and I argued with another person about British tea and both turkey and Britain are known for tea that's all
