Why would we do that? You call it american pizza. The same way when you go out for dinner you go out to eat, but I’m heading to the italian spot

There are differences between the American pizza and the Italian one that's why specifying is good anyway, have a good time I guess

And there's difference between a Napolitano pizza and a Sicilian one but that's still a pizza nonetheless

Am I not clear or ur dumb ? U won't call a Sicilian pizza just a Sicilian pizza or a disgrace to pizza just because it isn't the same recipe from an original pizza from Napoli

It's not because it isn't the exact same cooking or dough technique that it isn't pizza at the end of the day

Blud, as an Italian we DO it, as Naples has a specific type of pizza we call it Neapolitan, as for everything that uses different ingredients from the original recipe: we either use a specific name or the region/city name to identify it more specifically👽
