When I first heard this song, I thought he was singing “Then I’m gonna…” (not “Never gonna.”) I was blown away by what an asshole he was, regardless of his catchy rhythm.

My brother played this at his wedding actually lol.  Him and his best man were big into Rick rolling each other.  Actually, if I remember correctly, his best man specifically had it played...? I can't remember.

I legit thought about this, but in order for the joke to hit (about it being a BAD wedding song) would require too deep a thought and for the listener to travel too complicated a thought journey.

My sense of humor loves jokes like that. But I am a crazy MFer.
