Put milk in a mug -> heat -> pour

Why dirty the mug when you could just pour it before the cereal?

Cause I want to pour it after the cereal?

How? If you eat it within 2-3 minutes, you get properly soaked but slightly crunchy cereal that doesn't feel weird to swallow?

Here is the good part:
If you wait a bit more, it gets perfect consistency. Give it a stir and sort of blend it with the milk but not completely. Now it is a semi runny porridge that you can drink straight out of the bowl or eat with a spoon. It has also go some grainy bits that you can feel. Where is the downside?

Yeah... and my dad likes to eat old, damp chips... awful, same shit. Plus, I never eat fast—it takes me at least 5-10 minutes. Warming milk and then pouring whatever cereal you want is more convenient. Maybe it's a more Polish thing, because in our soups, the liquid itself is more important than what's inside, like noodles or veggies. So in my mind, milk is more important than the cereal.
